Info for Parents & Campers
Who is invited to AP Camp?
Camp is for all young men eligible to participate in the Young Men program. Nonmembers who are willing to abide by Church standards may also be included. With their parents’ approval, young men may attend overnight Young Men camps beginning in January of the year they turn 12.
2023 Camp Dates
Thursday, June 15th – Saturday, June 17th
Camp Registration & Fees
Complete the following by March 12th, 2023
- Online Registration Form
- Parental Permission and Medical Release Form
- Medical History and Immunizations Form
- AP Camp fee is $100 per camper
- Of $100, Bishoprics determine what the Ward Budget covers per camper
- Families are asked to contribute the balance – please see a Bishopric member for balance due
- Place balance in Tithing Envelope; on slip, under “Other” write in “AP Camp” with amount – turn in to Bishopric member

What are the Camp Facilities Like?
Campers will sleep in cabin-like yurts (without electricity). Camp facilities include bathrooms with toilets and showers (with hot and cold running water), a kitchen & dining area, nurse’s cabin, craft area, shooting ranges, a ropes challenge course, and stage.

Health Screening Information (more information coming)
- Every young man and adult attending camp must complete the Medical Prescreening, tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, June 14th.
- Do not come to camp if exhibiting symptoms of any illness, including symptoms of Covid-19. Any person that develops illness or Covid-19 symptoms at camp will be sent home. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to pick up their sick child from camp.
