Health Screening Information

Every young woman and adult attending camp must complete the Medical Screening.

Health screenings must be conducted on Sunday, June 15th, the day before campers leave for camp. Screenings will be conducted at the ward level, so please contact your ward camp director for more details.

Ward camp directors will need to deliver completed forms to our stake camp nurse, Jennifer Bair by Sunday evening.

**If a camper has symptoms of illness at camp, she will be sent home and parents will be required to pick her up. If a camper gets in the car with either lice or pink eye and is found to have either condition upon arrival at camp, then ALL campers in that vehicle must also go home.**

Medication

All medication must be turned in to the nursing staff, in the original container, prior to leaving for camp. Medication drop off will be available at the Watt Bldg, Cherry Bldg, Junction Bldg and Stake Center on June 15th. Drop off time TBD. If you are unable to drop off medication at the drop off times, please contact Jennifer Bair to make arrangements to turn in medications prior to camp.

Diabetics at camp:

  • Parents should consult with the camp nurse as to how they would like insulin administered.
  • If a camper normally administers their own insulin they will need to turn in a note from PCP (primary care physician) that states they can self administer insulin.

Ward Camp Directors will have more information available for your ward as camp approaches.
